Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf has reaffirmed that the Pakistan Navy remains fully prepared to safeguard national sovereignty and defend every inch of the country’s maritime borders.
He made these remarks while chairing the Command and Staff Conference of the Pakistan Navy, which concluded at Naval Headquarters, Islamabad.
During the conference, Admiral Ashraf underscored the importance of maintaining constant combat readiness to counter both conventional and unconventional challenges in the maritime domain. He further emphasized the Navy’s crucial role in ensuring peace, stability, and regional maritime security.
The forum conducted a comprehensive review of operational preparedness, ongoing projects, and upcoming events, including preparations for the Pakistan International Maritime Expo and Conference (PIMEC). The Naval Chief noted that PIMEC serves as a premier platform to showcase Pakistan’s maritime potential and strengthen regional cooperation.
