Senior Punjab Minister Maryam Aurangzeb has strongly denied reports claiming that security for Bilawal House Lahore has been withdrawn, calling such news false and baseless. She clarified that the security arrangements at Bilawal House are fully intact and were never removed.
Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari also dismissed the circulating reports, stating that the news is contrary to facts. She criticized those spreading politically motivated misinformation, calling it an irresponsible act.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Lahore Police confirmed that security at Bilawal House remains unchanged and fully operational. The spokesperson explained that a few officers were temporarily on rest leave, and replacement personnel were immediately assigned to maintain security levels.
The police further emphasized that routine duty rotations should not be misinterpreted as a withdrawal of security. They reiterated that no instructions have been issued by the Punjab government to reduce or remove security from Bilawal House.
