Saudi Arabia has expressed concern over the recent border tensions and clashes between Pakistan and Afghanistan following unprovoked firing by Afghan forces and a strong retaliatory response from the Pakistan Army.
In an official statement, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the Kingdom is deeply concerned about the situation along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border. It urged both countries to exercise restraint, avoid escalation, and resolve differences through dialogue and diplomacy, emphasizing that such measures are essential for maintaining regional peace and stability.
