Section 144 imposed in Sindh for one month

The Sindh government has imposed Section 144 across the province for a period of one month, according to a notification issued by the Home Department.

Under Section 144, public gatherings, rallies, processions, and sit-ins have been banned throughout Sindh. The notification further states that no more than five people will be allowed to gather in one place during this period.

The imposition of Section 144 was carried out at the request of the Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) and aims to maintain law and order amid growing security concerns.
