In a shocking incident, 73 mobile phones were stolen during a high-profile concert by world-renowned Spanish pop star Enrique Iglesias in Mumbai, India.
According to Indian media reports, the concert — attended by more than 25,000 people — took place in Mumbai, with ticket prices starting at ₹7,000. The event drew massive crowds, including Bollywood celebrities and prominent public figures.
However, amidst the excitement, thieves took advantage of the crowd, stealing 73 mobile phones worth approximately ₹2.4 million (24 lakh rupees). Local police have registered seven FIRs related to the thefts at different police stations in Mumbai.
Authorities have launched an investigation and are reviewing CCTV footage from the venue to trace the suspects. The incident has raised serious concerns about security measures at large-scale entertainment events in the city.
