A viral video circulating on social media, allegedly showing Saudi Arabia’s futuristic “Sky Stadium” designed for the 2034 FIFA World Cup, has been confirmed to be fake and AI-generated, according to international news agencies.
The video, which has garnered over 50 million views worldwide, was widely believed to depict an official Saudi government project. However, authorities and credible media sources have clarified that the video has no connection to any official Saudi plan or World Cup infrastructure project.
The creator of the viral AI video told reporters that the so-called “Sky Stadium” was merely a digital concept created using artificial intelligence tools, adding that he has no knowledge of or affiliation with any Saudi development initiative.
The clarification comes amid a surge in AI-generated visual content being mistaken for real-world projects, highlighting the growing challenge of misinformation in the digital age.
