Portuguese football icon and Al Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo has purchased two luxury villas in Saudi Arabia, further strengthening his long-term ties with the Kingdom, according to British media reports.
The development comes shortly after Ronaldo achieved another historic milestone in October, becoming the world’s first billionaire footballer. His total net worth is estimated at $1.4 billion, which translates to more than PKR 393 billion.
Reports state that Ronaldo and his fiancée, Georgina Rodríguez, acquired the villas on Saudi Arabia’s western coast in Nujuma, a highly exclusive resort located around 26 kilometers from the mainland. Access to the area is only possible via chartered boat or aircraft, making it one of the most private and tranquil destinations in the region.
According to details, the football superstar purchased two separate villas—one featuring three bedrooms intended for family use, and another smaller two-bedroom villa designed for private and short stays. The resort is known for its world-class architecture, personalized services, and pristine natural surroundings.
Media reports suggest that the starting price of each luxury villa is around 15.5 million Saudi riyals, although the total amount paid by Ronaldo for both properties has not been disclosed. The Nujuma resort reportedly consists of only 19 private villas, adding to its exclusivity and appeal among elite global figures.
Speaking after the purchase, Ronaldo said that he and Georgina felt an immediate connection to the island and its natural beauty during their first visit. He described the location as a peaceful retreat where the family can spend quality time away from the public eye.
It is worth noting that earlier this year, Ronaldo had publicly expressed his desire to live permanently in Saudi Arabia, signaling his growing personal and professional commitment to the country beyond football.
