Karachi Inter Board Announces 2025 Results for Intermediate Part-I Science General Group

The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has officially announced the results of the Intermediate Part-I Science General Group annual examinations for 2025. The results were declared by Chairman Inter Board Karachi, Fakir Muhammad Lakho, during a ceremony held at the committee room of the Inter Board Karachi.


Special Secretary of the Universities and Boards Department, Government of Sindh, Suhail Anwar Baloch, was also present on the occasion, highlighting the importance of the announcement and ongoing reforms in the examination system.


According to Controller of Examinations Zarina Rashid, a total of 19,212 candidates registered for the Science General Group examinations, out of which 18,813 candidates appeared in the exams.


She revealed that 9,678 candidates successfully passed all six papers. Meanwhile, 3,542 candidates passed five papers, 2,353 cleared four papers, 1,405 passed three papers, 860 candidates passed two papers, and 580 candidates managed to clear one paper.


Chairman Fakir Muhammad Lakho stated that, for the first time in the history of Inter Board Karachi, the Mathematics paper for the Science General Group was assessed through an e-marking system. The evaluation was conducted under a structured rubrics system, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and standardized marking.


He further emphasized that Inter Board Karachi is continuously working to modernize the examination system. Chairman Lakho announced that in the 2026 annual examinations, additional Intermediate papers will also be evaluated through e-marking to further enhance quality, transparency, and credibility in the assessment process.
